Ashford is a vigorous serif type and its Italic equivalent. As much as this is true, Ashford is full of great historic appeal and stylish ambiance for most people. As a display style it is effective in headlines, poster and in logotype. Considering the logo, Ashford teaches a message of style and inner knowledge.
Ashford is equipped with several OpenType features: Turn on the Standard Ligatures, Contextual Alternates option will disable some characters to overlap and use either Swash, Stylistic or Titling Alternates for variation.
Each of the styles has more than 50 alternates characters Additional Information. Again, it is important to realize that with Ashford the letters you type are the standard versions.
