Otelios is a geometrical sans serif font with mild humanist characteristics that improve the legibility. Its monolinear letterforms are mainly geometric, with some characters, like the ‘S’, the e and f and s and t and 5 and 6 and 9 and the default ampersand ( & ), using the humanist designs to enhance readability.
These humanist glyphs have open counters which enable them to be clearer, particularly when used in small size or on computers. Otelios features rounded dots on punctuation marks and letters, which make it feel friendly and approachable and makes it particularly appropriate to corporate design, user interfaces, and other editorial uses.
