Velthoven Black is a bold, modern Blackletter typeface that blends the classic feel of old blackletter styles with the clean minimalism of today’s design. It combines the strong, historic look of Fraktur calligraphy with sharp geometric shapes and fresh, modern details.
This typeface is made for designers who want to add bold contrasts and a strong attitude to their work. Velthoven Black works well for music branding, posters, fashion editorials, product packaging, tattoo and streetwear logos, book covers, labels, and Goth-inspired graphics.
Velthoven Black stands out with its strong stroke contrast and sharp angles, but the rounded spurs add a touch of softness. Even with its bold style, this typeface is easy to read and works well in many different layouts.
