The enchantment of some of the characters’ flamboyant shapes has created an idea to rework the face and bring it to life as a contemporary typeface.
Skeleton of the original characters have been used as a foundation for shaping glyphs. Bowed terminals and serifs helped to keep playful impressions of the entire typeface. The result of this work is a new typeface with Clarendonian, or Egyptian characteristics.
Mymra Piano is ideally suited for display use in publications or advertising.
