The Game of Thrones Font is inspired by the Netflix show Game of Thrones this font was used in their intro. So designers were so impressed with the font so they decided to make a font similar to it.

Operating on his personal time outside of the layout studio, Lester advanced the Soho and Soho Gothic typefaces. His aim became to mix both aesthetic and purposeful quality in a single typeface family. Designed between 2004 and 2007, the Gothic layout was no longer only a revision of the earlier font own family. All characters were drawn again, with Soho inside the leading edge to make sure compatibility between the two font households.
