Nuber Next is a modern geometric sans family inspired by the popular neo-grotesques of the 1950s, such as Helvetica and Univers. The family was carefully considered redesigning the original Nuber type family in every detail making it fit for a more extensive range of typographic applications by enhancing letter form, total uniformity, and creating a flexible width scheme housed within a five-width structure permits it to tackle from information design and newspaper-sized text settings up to headline environments.
Each font consists of 750 characters based on nine weights and five widths plus matching italics. Opentype features include seven variations of numerals, fractions, case-sensitive forms, stylistic alternates, ligatures, extended monetary symbols, with language support Cyrillic, Western, South, and Central Europe.
