Fontanella is a sans serif font designed by Coto Mendoza, it arises from calligraphy and manual drawing based on studying the skeleton structure and classic proportions of roman capital letters. this starting route early leads to a collection of 8-weight sans-serif family and its italics.
Other glyphs in the alternates include small caps, old numbers and width variants. The slightly enlarged x-height offers it added flexibility for composing very short texts in editorial, fashion, branding, magazine and television advertising as well as web banners or window display.
