Gibson Font Family Members Are Perfect For Many Different Sizes The Gibson family was designed by Rod McDonald FGDC of Canada Type for humanist sans serif use to honor John Gibson FGDC (1928-2011), one of the original founders of The Modern Society of Graphic Designers of Canada (GDC).
Canada Type distributes this font family through several prominent distributors with proceeds going back into designing design education in Canada through initiatives. The Gibson household can be purchased from Canada Type with proceeds donated directly back into Canadian Design Education programs through donations made in exchange.
