Inter UI is a typeface specially created for computer user interfaces with an emphasis on maximum legibility of modest to medium-sized script on screens. The category highlights an elevated x-height to help in readability of combined-case and lowercase content. A number of OpenType qualities are furnished too, like contextual alternates that changes punctuation based on the form of encompassing glyphs, slashed zero for when differentiation is needed between “0” and “o”, tabular numbers, and so on.
Additionally, several letters were refined to perform better at smaller sizes, like the bowl of the “a” being marginally expanded and connections tightened on letter pairs like “rv” to increase clarity.
