Mervyn seems to be a font created with the purpose of imitating the appearance of calligraphy from the past. Calligraphy fonts are defined by moderately curved and thinner outlines which resembled of handwritten typeset created by a fisted calligrapher. These fonts are employed in the formal invitations, in wedding invitations or even a wedding invitation designs as well as certificates among other designs that needs extra classy and timeless look.
